What is a Journey?
Red Monkey Story Journeys are longer awakening programs where we mix teaching and coaching.
Journeys can be customized by using the different parts of the Red Monkey Story to fit the awakening needs of participants. They can take a halve day to several weeks or even months to finish. It all depends on the passion and the awakening goals.
By participating in a ‘Journey’, participants will be introduced to a completely different methodology for teaching, learning and interaction.

You better start a Journey with a ‘pack’?
Journeys can be done by individual participants or by packs of participants. Because several reasons we promote packs.
The Red Monkey Story tries to awaken people. ‘Awakening’ is the most difficult (first) step in learning. It will only happen after reflection, debate & intensive Q&A. That’s why we go for ‘Packs of Participants’. The creation of balanced ‘Packs’ is the work of ‘Pack Builders’.
A pack is a team between 6 and 12 members. They can be colleagues, friends, business or network partners. It’s the ‘Pack Builder’ who creates a divers and balanced team to start a journey. Feel free to contact us for advise in gathering this team.
Even for In-Company Journeys we advices to participate with different packs.
Global Teaching - Local Coaching
Journeys can be organized in different formats. Online, Inhouse, Hybrid, Short, Long … almost everything is possible. The goal remains the same … awakening in a new paradigm for organizational development.
For Hybrid Journeys we use the principle ‘Teach Global - Coach Local’. Which means the teaching happens online, but we do ask packs to discuss and reflect on the content locally. To guide this process, each ‘Pack Builder’ appoints within the team a ‘Pack Coach’ who moderates and facilitates, and a ‘Pack Reporter’ who records and debriefs.
The Teaching Sessions will be recorded for delayed viewing and extra online Engagement Sessions are organized if requested by the Pack Reporters.
Cluster Journeys
Based on our experience and insights we believe that the future of Disruptive Business Innovation will be created by networks of companies and organizations that share their mission and create a network where Red Monkeys (disruptive business ideas) are created, incubated and brought to operation by using the collective of passionate talents and resources available in the network. For us it is the most challenging target group for embedding Open Red Monkey Innovation Management.
It is also our believe that these networks will only be successful when they bring their organizational cultures in the groove with the organizations in their network. The learning and innovation potential of these networks is enormous. With the Cluster Journeys we make our first step in promoting this kind of networking.
A ‘RMS Cluster Journey’ is an Awakening Journey organized by a cluster of organizations that are non-competitive towards each other. Clusters offer you a chance to learn and experience the insights of The Red Monkey Story in a network of organizations.
Each organization sends one or more packs of participants. Together these packs journey through a Red Monkey Story Awakening Journey. The creation of a cluster of participating organizations will be managed by a ‘Cluster Builder’.
IN-COMPANY or Open JOURNEYS
These journeys are organized within an organization, by Red Monkey Company or with a partner.
